These are the resources i used on a recent project i did with my year 10 about the Favelas in Brazil. There are photos, videos and website links which they used as a starting point to research about life in these Brazilian shanty towns and the aim was to finish off our unit about house, home and routine by writing a factual piece about a home in a favela and an imaginative one about the daily routine of a child who lives there. I've included a couple of the slides that my year 10s made.
