A few more quizzes and activities i've done with my form this year. These include a who's who?, a biscuit quiz, a chocolate-wrapper quiz and sounds and film stills quizzes in the presentation.
10 more quizzes that i've used with my form this year including a couple based on 'Million pound drop' and a sound one about TV adverts. For the sound one, you'll need to download the Powerpoint too.
Towards the end of last year, i played Nintendo Wii with most of my Language classes. This is a video and worksheet with ideas on how you might use the game Wii party in your Spanish class ( could also work for French/German etc). It was a really fun and worthwhile activity and hopefully this year i'll be including the Wii again as part of the module i do on commands/imperatives instead of just an end-of-term treat.
These are quizzes/activities for my form's registration on Friday which is known as Chillax time. Powerpoint is for form quiz 2 which is a sound quiz. Some of the more outlandish ones have answers. I've also added 2 links for good websites if you have a whiteboard linked to internet.
Porter were a cool Mexican band from Guadalajara. This is from their album 'Atemahawke'. I like them because the singer sounds just a bit crazy. Video for song 'Hansel and Gretel's Bollywood story'.
This is a quick video guide to an easy way to save time in lessons by embedding several different presentations into 1 slide show. I use this to show homework, randomly choose students, insert games and insert vocabulary into ICT-based homework tasks. The documents below are the vocabulary slides i give out as an aid to homework for my year 7 classes.
Every Wednesday we have debates in form time. These are the topics which have produced the best response from my form. Some of the issues are quite 'grown up' but there are plenty here to choose from.
